Only Strife Left Between Us

Only Strife Left Between Us is a narrative-driven, cinematic roleplaying game of interpersonal conflict. It pits two characters against one another for a predetermined stake. But violence is never so simple. 2 - 3 players will work collaboratively to tell the stories of these two individuals and how this moment came to fruition.

Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed stepping into the ring. Sasaki Kojirō and Miyamoto Musashi on the shores of Ganryujima. A father and son igniting their laser swords in the darkened throne room of an evil emperor.

History and fiction are rife with these examples. Real and imagined. This game attempts to capture that dramatic tension bringing to bear both of the combatant’s memories and motivations, the things which built them to this moment. And only one will walk away victorious.
